Prayer is the engine room of all activities of the church. The chapel is open during office hours daily for anyone to spend time in prayer. Formal prayer meetings are held every Wednesday evening at 18:00 and Saturday at 08:00,these are open to all.
Prayer Companions
We have a wonderful caring group of people have volunteered to serve on a roster basis after every service. They will remain in the church after each service and are identified by a purple sash. When you have the need for prayer please come to the communion rail,remain in your seat or find a purple sash to pray with you (they will be on duty for +/- 20 minutes.)
The prayer ministers meet monthly every second Wednesday at 19h00 and Ockie will bring regular training. Anyone called to this ministry is welcome to join us and attend the meetings.
The Golden Basket
This ministry is for family /friends who need to have a saving relationship with Jesus. Write the name on a piece of paper and place it in the basket. We regularly pray over all the names in the basket and for each answered prayer- a soul won for Jesus,please place a rose in the basket. At the Ash Wednesday Service,marking the beginning of Lent every year we clear the basket and dedicate all the names together with ourselves,by our Palm Sunday crosses from the previous year,and start anew.
